Medal Mounting

At John Burridge Military Antiques (JBMA) we take pride in the fact that we are Western Australia’s oldest medal mounting establishment.

Angela Burridge is head of our medal mounting department and began working at JBMA in 1990. Angela further honed her skills by working in London at Spink & Son Ltd, founded in 1666. This experience afforded Angela the opportunity of working directly under three Royal Warrants which entailed mounting medals for the Royal Family and demonstrating the trade to the future King of England, Prince William. Whilst in the UK Angela also had the great honour of mounting the largest privately owned collection of Victoria Crosses in the world - over 100 groups.

RIBBON BARS
Single : $5
Two medals : $10
Three medals : $15
Four medals : $20

Once a recipient's medal entitlement becomes greater than four medals, a further ribbon bar is added (as required), with the four bar being worn below representing the last medals in the group. The added bar then represents the remainder of the medals in the group and is centred above.
